I looked at reference photos of the same model to get the faces to look similar. I looked at reference photos from a different model for the pose.
I think I'm finally getting to a style I like that is somewhere in between realism and comic book art. A little more use of line weight here than earlier sketches with slightly more simplified shading than in earlier drawings. The sunrise motif is something I used to use in a lot of my color pencil drawings when I was a kid (preteen and teen years).

LOL - So sorry. It was a tongue-in-cheek response to a relative of mine who said "you should draw her naked". No. No. No. I don't understand naked superheroes and I don't like anything about the idea for various reasons. Besides... isn't the costume a big part of what makes a superhero recognizable in the first place?
As sexualized as this costume is, its STILL better than the new one she has now lol. I also like to this she has to wear this as a huge apology for Amazons Attack>
