I really hope they make enough Green Lantern movies to have Larfleeze in one or two, and if they do, this ring design should defenately be used! It goes well with the Green movie ring and it just has that feel of uniqueness to it; and, as Larfleeze put it; "What's different is worth more."
I love this interpretation of the symbol, and as unique and cool as it is, it's also just cool to see slightly different takes on it, like how the human GLs all have (depending on the artist) their own ring.
I really like this Powering! the fact that you have moved away from the classical circles around the symbol, and have made it edgier, makes it unique among power rings which is perfect for the wielder of the "one ring" of avarice. I really dig the fact the grubby little arms of the "creature" hugging the light in the center extend around the ring, and that the light follows them, adding even greater feeling of "me mine, i want!" In my opinion, this is the better of the two rings of avarice you have created. ( the other one is, of course, also extremely well done, but this is the one for me! )
Thanks. Very well thought out comments too. I was actually thinking of the image of Larfleeze tightly clasping the orange lantern when I designed this. That's exactly what I had in mind when I made the stripes and the "V" wrapping around the ring and clasping the light in the center.
